The Telangana Rising Global Summit 2025 marked a significant milestone for the state’s development, securing major investments worth ₹1.88 lakh crore on its very first day. The summit, which began on Monday, saw the signing of 35 key investment agreements, reinforcing the state’s Vision 2047 strategic roadmap, according to an official statement.

The bulk of the investments, totaling ₹1.04 lakh crore, are directed toward future technologies, infrastructure, and smart urban development. Notably, ₹75,000 crore has been committed to deep technology, making it the summit’s biggest draw. These funds will support the government’s “Bharat Future City” initiative, aimed at creating a fully integrated net-zero urban ecosystem. The Vin Group reaffirmed its ₹27,000 crore investment, focusing on next-generation renewable energy, advanced EV infrastructure, and smart urban planning.

Renewable energy alone attracted investments of ₹39,700 crore. Everm-Axis Energy announced a ₹31,500 crore project to significantly expand solar and wind power capacity, while the Mail Group proposed ₹8,000 crore for solar energy, pumped storage systems, and EV projects.

In addition, GMR Group committed ₹15,000 crore toward aerospace and aviation expansion. Investments of nearly ₹5,000 crore were approved for the defense sector, and ₹13,500 crore for advanced manufacturing and core industries.

Speaking at the event, Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy said, “The ₹1.88 lakh crore investments on the very first day reflect strong support from both citizens and investors for Telangana’s progressive governance. Now, our focus will shift to implementation. Every rupee invested must translate into quality jobs, robust infrastructure, and a future where Telangana leads India’s economic journey.”
