‘Telangana Rising 2047’ Takes Centre Stage at Harvard: CM Revanth Reddy Interacts with Students

As part of his official visit to the United States, Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy held an extended interaction with students and alumni at Harvard University , marking the conclusion of his engagements there. Delegations from other leading institutions, including MIT and Columbia University , also met the Chief Minister.

Students posed questions on leadership, economic growth, development models, sustainability, environmental challenges, and welfare policies focused on farmers, women and youth. Responding, Mr. Revanth Reddy shared his governance experience, the challenges of reform-driven leadership, and the importance of a long-term vision .

He outlined the “Telangana Rising 2047” vision, aimed at inclusive growth and empowerment-led development. The vision, he said, would position Telangana and Hyderabad as national role models and strengthen the State’s global standing in the coming decades.

In a lighter moment, when asked to offer lessons on leadership, the Chief Minister quipped that such responsibility should be left to Harvard professors, adding that he preferred learning through dialogue and the sharing of real-life experiences rather than formal lectures.

Expressing confidence in India’s future, Mr. Revanth Reddy urged students studying abroad to contribute to Telangana’s development and serve as global brand ambassadors for “Telangana Rising.” Students welcomed the call and expressed willingness to use their skills and knowledge to support the State’s growth.
