Telangana releases notification for TET 2026

The Telangana government has released the notification for the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) 2026. Applications will be accepted from November 15, 2025, and the last date to apply is November 29, 2025. The exam is scheduled to be conducted from January 3 to January 31, 2026. The School Education Department issued the notification on Thursday.

This is the second phase of TET for the year 2025. The first phase notification was released in June 2025, with exams already completed and results declared on July 22, 2025.

It is important to note that, following a landmark Supreme Court ruling, all current teachers working in government schools must qualify in TET to continue in their positions.
