Telangana refurbishes 134 Hyderabad police patrol vehicles with new TG stickers

The Telangana Police Department has refurbished 134 patrol vehicles in Hyderabad, outfitting them with new TG (Telangana Government) stickers as part of an initiative to modernize the city’s policing infrastructure. The move is aimed at enhancing the visibility and recognizability of police vehicles across the city.

Officials stated that the refurbishment program includes not just the addition of TG stickers but also routine maintenance, repair, and upgrading of safety features, ensuring that the fleet remains fully operational and effective for patrolling duties. The updated vehicles will be deployed across various zones of Hyderabad to improve rapid response capabilities and maintain law and order.

A senior police official noted, “This refurbishment drive reflects our commitment to maintaining a modern, efficient police force. The new TG stickers will also make our vehicles easily identifiable to the public, strengthening community trust and awareness.”
