The Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board (TSLPRB) has announced the dates for the preliminary written examinations for the ongoing recruitment of Sub-Inspectors and constables in the state. The announcement marks a significant step forward in the recruitment process for thousands of aspirants seeking government jobs in the police and allied departments.

According to TSLPRB Chairman V.V. Srinivasa Rao, the preliminary written examination for SI-level posts will be conducted on November 29, while the examination for constable posts is scheduled for December 20. The board has initiated arrangements to conduct both examinations across Telangana.

The recruitment notification covers 7,437 vacancies across departments functioning under the Home Department. These include the Police Department, Special Protection Force (SPF), Fire Services and Prisons Department. The recruitment drive has received a substantial response from job aspirants, with 5,77,064 applications submitted by 4,29,000 candidates.

The board said the large number of applications reflects the strong interest among candidates in the latest police recruitment drive. Applicants will now have to prepare for the preliminary examinations according to the schedule announced by the recruitment authority.

Meanwhile, the TSLPRB has highlighted the response to a new Aadhaar-based face authentication system introduced for the recruitment process. The measure was brought in for the first time with the objective of strengthening the transparency and verification procedures associated with recruitment.

According to the board, 97.4 per cent of candidates have already completed the face authentication process successfully. The remaining 2.6 per cent have been given additional time to complete the mandatory verification.

The TSLPRB has fixed September 30 as the deadline for candidates who are yet to complete face authentication. The board has advised them to finish the process within the stipulated period and subsequently download their PDF application forms.

With the examination dates now finalised, candidates are expected to focus on their preparation for the preliminary tests. The recruitment process will cover multiple stages, with eligible candidates required to comply with the board's instructions and schedules as the selection process moves forward.
