Telangana on cold alert as temperatures expected to drop further

The Telangana State Meteorological Department has warned that the cold wave in the state is likely to intensify over the next two to three days. Minimum temperatures are expected to drop significantly, possibly 3 to 4 degrees Celsius below normal levels.

Currently, several areas in Telangana are recording nighttime temperatures below 10°C. Authorities have advised residents to take necessary precautions, especially the elderly and children, to protect themselves from the cold.

Travelers are also being cautioned to stay alert, as low temperatures could lead to foggy conditions on roads, affecting visibility. The meteorological department emphasized that the cold spell may persist for the coming days, urging everyone to remain vigilant and take preventive measures.
