Telangana invites German companies to invest, says CM Revanth Reddy

Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has invited German companies to invest in key sectors such as IT, pharmaceuticals, and automobiles, as part of his vision to transform Hyderabad into a global innovation hub.

A delegation from Germany, led by Michael Hasper, Consul General at the German Consulate in Chennai, met the Chief Minister on Tuesday. During the meeting, Hasper shared details about the expansion of Deutsche Börse, a leading German multinational company, which is setting up a Global Capability Center (GCC) in Hyderabad.

The representatives informed that the new center will create over 1,000 employment opportunities within the next two years. Located in the city’s Hi-Tech area, the facility is expected to bring fresh momentum to Hyderabad’s technology sector and boost German investments in the region.

German support for language and skills development

Speaking on the occasion, CM Revanth Reddy said the Telangana government is determined to position Hyderabad as a world-class innovation hub. He noted that German collaboration will play a key role in achieving this goal.

He welcomed Deutsche Börse’s decision to establish its GCC in Hyderabad, describing it as an important step that will open new doors for German investment in the state. The Chief Minister assured full support and a business-friendly environment for all German firms looking to invest in Telangana.

Revanth Reddy also requested Germany’s cooperation in promoting German language training and skill development programs for Telangana students. He suggested deploying German instructors in Hyderabad to teach the language and enhance vocational education initiatives.

Additionally, the Chief Minister mentioned that discussions are underway between Telangana’s Overseas Manpower Company and German authorities to expand employment opportunities abroad for skilled youth from the state.

With the establishment of Deutsche Börse’s center and the growing partnership between Telangana and Germany, officials believe a new chapter of economic growth is beginning for the state.
