Telangana Health Minister Opens Key Facilities in Andole Constituency

Telangana Health Minister Damodar Rajanarsimha on Saturday toured the Andole constituency , inaugurating several development works . He attended a programme as the chief guest at the Jogipet Polytechnic College .

On the occasion, the Minister inaugurated projects worth around ₹75 lakh . At the Jogipet Polytechnic in Shivampet, Choutkur mandal , he opened a mechanical workshop shed built at a cost of ₹43 lakh with CSR funds from the New Land Foundation . He also inaugurated four high-mast LED streetlights installed at a cost of ₹6 lakh under DMFT funds .

In addition, he launched a modern computer lab set up with ₹26 lakh through CSR funding from the Toshiba company . Speaking at the event, the Minister said a total of ₹2.35 crore has been spent so far on the development of the Jogipet Polytechnic through CSR funds. He stated that the State government is giving top priority to the education and healthcare sectors .

The Minister interacted with the students and enquired about their needs. He assured that further development works, including the construction of a girls’ hostel and additional workshop sheds , would be taken up in the future.

District Collector Praveenya , Sarpanch Sandhya Rani , New Land Foundation Vice President D.V. Reddy , other public representatives, faculty members, and students were present at the programme.
