Telangana Govt to Fast-Track Filling of All Job Vacancies: CM Revanth Reddy

Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Friday announced that the state government would soon take up more government job recruitments. He appealed to unemployed youth not to fall prey to what he termed false propaganda by opposition parties. The Chief Minister made these remarks in Hyderabad after distributing appointment letters to 1,370 candidates selected for TSPSC Group-3 posts .

Targeting the previous BRS government, Revanth Reddy alleged that unemployed youth were cheated during its ten-year rule. He accused former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) of prioritising his political career, family interests, and party over governance, while completely neglecting government job recruitment. He remarked that the earlier regime placed family first, party second, and political future third, with little concern for public needs.

The Chief Minister said the frustration of unemployed youth over the BRS government’s failure to provide jobs led to the Congress government coming to power. After assuming office in 2023, he said, the government carried out a comprehensive overhaul of the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) and appointed members with proven track records to restore transparency and credibility.

Revanth Reddy stated that despite legal hurdles created by opposition parties, the government filled Group-1, Group-2, and Group-3 posts in a transparent manner. He alleged that under the previous BRS regime, competitive exams were disrupted due to repeated question paper leaks. By studying UPSC practices and reforming TSPSC, the government has filled nearly 70,000 government jobs in just two years , he said.

The Chief Minister said he was aware of unemployment-related protests in areas such as Osmania University and Ashok Nagar , and assured that job notifications would be issued regularly. He also warned government employees against neglecting their parents, stating that strict action would be taken, including crediting 10 to 15 percent of salaries directly to parents’ accounts if necessary. Emphasising quality education, nutrition, and skill development, he said government employees would play a key role in achieving India’s goal of becoming a $3 trillion economy by 2047 .
