Telangana CM Accelerates Global Investments with Focus on Land and Infrastructure

The Telangana government is intensifying efforts to promote industrial development and employment by expediting the implementation of major investment projects.

During a high-level review in Hyderabad , the Chief Minister directed officials to quickly act on agreements signed at the World Economic Forum and the Telangana Rising Global Summit , ensuring that projects move swiftly from planning to execution.

With investment commitments of around ₹5.75 lakh crore secured, the government is focusing on timely implementation. The Chief Minister reviewed the status of ongoing and pending projects, stressing accountability and the need to avoid delays.

To streamline the process, industries will be grouped based on their scale and strategic importance, with top priority given to globally recognized companies. This, the government believes, will help attract supporting industries and generate wider employment opportunities.

He also emphasized the need for quick land allocation and the provision of essential infrastructure, including electricity and transport. A robust single-window system will be used to resolve investor issues and speed up approvals.

Highlighting sustainability, the Chief Minister proposed the use of treated wastewater for industrial needs, aiming to conserve natural water resources. Officials have been asked to prepare infrastructure plans to support this initiative.

Reaffirming the government’s intent, A. Revanth Reddy stated that investments should lead to real improvements in people’s livelihoods, with officials optimistic about strong industrial growth in the coming years.
