Telangana attracts ₹3.4 lakh Cr in investments: Minister Sridhar Babu

Telangana IT Minister Sridhar Babu highlighted the stark contrast between past governments and the current public-focused administration, emphasizing that the state is now being positioned on the global industrial map through transparent and efficient governance.

Speaking about investment culture, the minister noted that the outdated “gate-pass culture,” which used to discourage investors, has been completely eliminated. Today, globally renowned companies are confidently turning their attention toward Telangana.

He clarified that recent Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) are not just symbolic documents but represent real opportunities for investments, job creation, and growth for the youth. According to the minister, the development happening in the state is carefully planned rather than random.

Over the past two years alone, Telangana has attracted ₹3.4 lakh crore in investments, and IT exports have seen a significant rise. Long-pending projects, such as the Warangal Textile Park, are now complete and fully operational, giving a fresh boost to the state’s economy.

Minister Sridhar Babu praised Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy’s leadership, noting that the government’s people-centric, transparent approach, combined with investor-friendly policies, speedy approvals, and corruption-free governance, is steadily transforming Telangana into a global industrial hub.
