Teja Sajja & Rishab Shetty join forces in Jai Hanuman

After the runaway success of HanuMan, director Prasanth Varma is charting even bigger waters with his next vision: Jai Hanuman. The film is envisioned as a grand spectacle that will elevate the Prasanth Varma Cinematic Universe (PVCU) to a new scale.

In a recent interview, Rishab Shetty, famed for Kantara, revealed that the script gripped him instantly. Although he initially didn’t plan to take on new commitments before wrapping Kantara: Chapter 1, he accepted Jai Hanuman without hesitation after hearing the story.

He further disclosed that pre-production is already underway, with a photo shoot completed, and that the formal shooting schedule will be locked soon.

One of the biggest draws: Teja Sajja, who starred as the lead in HanuMan, is set to play a key role in the new film ensuring continuity for fans of the universe.

According to public sources, Jai Hanuman will feature a stellar ensemble including Rishab Shetty as Lord Hanuman, alongside Rana Daggubati, Teja Sajja, Amritha Aiyer, and Samuthirakani.

The film is positioned as a direct sequel to HanuMan (2024). Reportedly, the production budget is massive (approx. ₹200 crore, per media sources), pointing to high ambitions in technical scale, visual effects and pan-Indian reach.
