Taylor Swift Unveils Four New Songs in ‘The Life of a Showgirl: The Encore’

Taylor Swift is set to give fans more music with the release of “The Life of a Showgirl: The Encore,” an expanded edition of her 2025 album featuring four previously unreleased tracks.

The deluxe edition is scheduled to arrive on Friday, September 25, with the new songs titled “Patient Zero,” “Cleveland!,” “Pink Clouding” and “Babylon.” The announcement has generated considerable excitement among Swift's fans, coming just days before the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards.

Swift has described the additional songs as an extension of the original project, with the tracks created following the album's successful release. She worked on the music with Swedish hitmakers Max Martin and Shellback, collaborators who also contributed to the original album.

Among the four new tracks, “Cleveland!” has drawn particular attention because of its apparent connection to Travis Kelce, whose hometown is Cleveland. The reference has prompted enthusiastic reactions from fans and speculation over the song's subject matter. Swift has not, however, publicly explained the track's meaning in detail.

The new release follows Swift's recent unveiling of “Patient Zero,” which was teased ahead of the full announcement. The singer used social media and a countdown to build anticipation around the new material.
