Tamannaah Shares First Glimpse From Ragini 3 Sets as Horror Franchise Gets a Fresh Reboot

The screams are back! Tamannaah Bhatia has officially begun shooting for Ragini 3 , the newest chapter in the iconic Ragini horror franchise. The actress shared the exciting update with fans through her Instagram Stories, posting a behind the scenes photo holding the film's clapboard marked "Day 01," confirming that the much awaited horror entertainer has officially gone on floors in London .

Produced by Balaji Motion Pictures , Ragini 3 is being described as a "date night horror" entertainer, promising a refreshing blend of horror, romance, comedy, and suspense . Directed by Shashanka Ghosh , the film takes the long running franchise in a completely new direction while retaining its signature supernatural thrills. The makers have also confirmed a 2027 theatrical release .

The film boasts a star studded ensemble featuring Aayush Sharma , Junaid Khan , and Nargis Fakhri alongside Tamannaah. Reports suggest Tamannaah's character will be central to the story, with two parallel romantic tracks involving Junaid and Aayush, while Nargis is expected to play a police officer. Although the makers are keeping the plot tightly under wraps, the new installment is said to move away from the franchise's earlier horror erotica template and instead focus on supernatural horror, mystery, and unexpected twists.
