T20 Champions India Set for Zimbabwe Tour This July
The Indian men’s cricket team will tour Zimbabwe in July 2026 for a three-match T20 International series , scheduled at the Harare Sports Club on July 23, 25 and 26 . This will be India’s first assignment since their triumph in the 2026 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup , where they defeated New Zealand in the final to claim the title for the second consecutive time.
India last played a bilateral T20I series in Zimbabwe in 2024 , winning four of the five matches. The two sides are also set to meet in a three-match ODI series in India in January 2027 , with fixtures in Kolkata, Hyderabad and Mumbai .
While the official squad for the Zimbabwe tour has not yet been announced, the probable playing XI is expected to include Abhishek Sharma , Sanju Samson (wk) , Ishan Kishan , Tilak Varma , Hardik Pandya , Rinku Singh , Axar Patel , Arshdeep Singh , Ravi Bishnoi or Kuldeep Yadav , Jasprit Bumrah , and another pace specialist to complete the unit.
Suryakumar Yadav is likely to lead the team as captain , following his successful stint in the T20 World Cup. The team’s head coach , Gautam Gambhir , will continue to guide India’s limited-overs setup.
The Zimbabwe tour is expected to give selectors a chance to test emerging talent and fine-tune combinations for upcoming international assignments, while also consolidating India’s momentum after their recent World Cup success.
