The Telangana State Government has launched a citizen survey as part of its ambitious “Telangana Rising Vision–2047” initiative, aimed at shaping the state’s long-term development roadmap. The survey, which began on October 10, 2025, will continue until October 25, 2025, inviting public participation across all sections of society.

The primary objective of the survey is to gather citizens’ opinions and aspirations on how they envision Telangana by the year 2047, when India will celebrate 100 years of independence. The feedback will serve as the foundation for a comprehensive Vision Document, being prepared under the guidance of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy.

According to officials, the survey seeks to outline the state’s growth strategy in sectors such as the economy, social welfare, education, agriculture, technology, and environment. The government emphasised that the document will not merely be a policy framework, but a collective vision representing the aspirations of all Telangana citizens.

The online survey is open to youth, farmers, women, students, employees, entrepreneurs, educators, senior citizens, and NRIs. It is available in Telugu, English, and Urdu, and takes approximately five to six minutes to complete. Participants can access it through the official Telangana government website at www.telangana.gov.in/telanganarising .

Officials noted that public feedback from this initiative will play a vital role in determining the direction of Telangana’s future development. The Vision–2047 plan aims to strengthen local institutions, enhance public services in tribal and remote areas, promote innovation in agriculture and allied sectors, and boost employment and entrepreneurship through skill-based courses and support for startups.

The document also envisions Telangana achieving a $3 trillion economy by 2047, with a strong focus on technology-driven progress. Plans include the introduction of AI, robotics, and ITI-based skill programmes, and the establishment of international-level universities to equip the state’s youth for global competitiveness.

Through this initiative, the Telangana government aims to create an inclusive and forward-looking development blueprint reflecting the voices and aspirations of its people.
