Surakshit India Awards 2026 Open Nominations Across 19 Categories
IIRIS Consulting, in partnership with The Times of India Group, has opened nominations for the Surakshit India Awards 2026, the second edition of the national initiative recognising contributions to India's safety and security across workplaces, public spaces and cyberspace.
Nominations will remain open until December 1, 2026, across 19 categories. The award ceremony is scheduled for December 18, 2026, at the Manekshaw Centre in New Delhi as part of the Secure India Summit (TSIS 2026), organised by IIRIS Consulting and The Times of India Group.
Rooted in the vision of Surakshit Bharat, Viksit Bharat, the awards aim to recognise individuals and organisations whose efforts protect lives, property and critical infrastructure. The initiative also seeks to establish industry benchmarks and highlight the contribution of security professionals to India's development.
The Safe & Secure Excellence Awards recognise secure business campuses, manufacturing facilities, hotels, shopping complexes and Made-in-India security solutions. The Fire Safety Excellence Awards honour organisations and institutions demonstrating excellence in fire safety, preparedness and emergency response. The Cyber & Information Security Excellence Awards recognise institutions taking effective measures to protect businesses and India's digital infrastructure.
The Bravehearts Awards celebrate security personnel and firefighters whose acts of courage have protected lives and property.
Garry Singh, President of IIRIS Consulting, said the awards take a comprehensive approach by recognising people, processes, technology and ideas, rather than focusing solely on companies and their leadership. He added that the Bravehearts Awards offer security guards and firefighters financial and other benefits.
Organisations can nominate their own facilities, products, services and initiatives, including projects undertaken for clients. Employers, supervisors and fire departments can nominate security guards and firefighters for the Bravehearts Awards. Self-nominations are also accepted with an authorisation letter from the nominee's current organisation. Eligible achievements and acts of bravery must have occurred between October 1, 2025, and October 1, 2026.
Applicants must register for their chosen category, download the nomination form and upload the completed form with supporting documents through www.secureindiasummit.com. Shortlisted candidates will participate in a virtual interaction with the jury before the final selection.
The Secure India Summit brings together government, military, law enforcement, industry and security experts to discuss emerging threats and develop collaborative approaches to strengthening India's safety and resilience.
