Sumanth’s ‘Mahendragiri Vaarahi’ Eyes September 11 Theatrical Release

Sumanth’s long-awaited mystery thriller Mahendragiri Vaarahi is reportedly set to arrive in theatres on September 11, with an official announcement from the makers expected soon. According to industry buzz, the team is targeting the date as the film enters the final stages of post-production.

Directed by Santosh Jagarlapudi, the film blends mythology, mystery, and suspense, centering on a series of unexplained events connected to Goddess Varahi and the enigmatic region of Mahendragiri. The recently released teaser generated curiosity among audiences with its dark atmosphere and supernatural themes.

The film features Aishwarya Rajesh, Malavika Nair, and Meenakshi Goswami in pivotal roles alongside Sumanth. Supporting actors include Brahmanandam, Vennela Kishore, Rajeev Kanakala, and Ali, while Anup Rubens has composed the music. The project is produced by Madhu Kalipu and Lakshman under the banners of Rajashyamala Entertainments and Bridge Films.

At the teaser launch, filmmaker Anil Ravipudi praised the film’s promotional material, describing it as gripping and lauding Jagarlapudi’s vision along with Anup Rubens’ background score. The makers are now expected to begin an extensive promotional campaign ahead of the planned theatrical release.
