Students risk lives daily due to lack of school transport in Narayanapet

Students in Narayanapet district are putting their lives at risk every day just to reach school on time. In Maddur Mandal, many students have no access to proper transportation, forcing them to travel dangerously in vehicles like Boleros.

According to the students, the shortage of school buses has been a long-standing problem. With no safe alternatives, they are left with little choice but to take risky rides. The situation is particularly serious for children coming from rural areas to schools in the mandal center.

Parents are deeply worried, knowing that even a small mistake on the road could result in serious injury or worse. “Every day, we fear whether our children will return home safely,” said one parent.

Local residents are urging the education and transport departments to provide additional buses during school hours immediately. They stress that preventive action is essential to avoid any accidents and ensure the safety of students.
