Stay Safe, Ride Smart: Kukatpally’s ‘Arrive Alive’ Helmet Drive

As part of the ‘Arrive Alive’ awareness campaign in the Kukatpally area, Cyberabad Police Commissioner Dr. M. Ramesh distributed helmets to the public and delivered a key message on road safety.

Commissioner Ramesh urged everyone to follow the motto: “Start Early – Go Slowly – Reach Safely.” He emphasized that planning a journey in advance, reducing speed, and reaching the destination safely are crucial steps to prevent road accidents.

He particularly appealed to the youth and students to strictly follow traffic rules and insisted that wearing helmets while riding two-wheelers is mandatory. He warned that even a small lapse in caution could put precious lives at risk.

The Commissioner highlighted that from January 13 to 23 , the Cyberabad Commissionerate successfully conducted ‘Arrive Alive’ awareness programs across schools, colleges, and offices. These initiatives have significantly raised public awareness about road safety.

He concluded by calling on everyone to act responsibly, stating that a safer, accident-free society is possible only through collective responsibility , and urged citizens to make road safety a way of life.
