
Star-Studded Panel - Nobel Laureate, Ex-RBI Chiefs to shape Telangana’s 2047 Blueprint
Telangana has set up a high-level advisory committee of prominent experts to provide strategic guidance for its ambitious ‘Telangana Rising 2047’ vision. Led by Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, the panel includes economists, governance specialists, technology leaders, social policy experts, and environmentalists.
Notable members include Nobel laureate Abhijit Banerjee, former RBI Governors Raghuram Rajan and Duvvuri Subbarao, social activist Aruna Roy, Biocon founder Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw, former Chief Economic Advisor Arvind Subramanian, and former Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) President Kris Gopalakrishnan. The committee will advise on both the preparation and implementation of the vision document, offering strategic recommendations and periodic reviews.
A government statement on the Telangana Rising Global Summit account said, “Under the leadership of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, this advisory panel will provide strategic guidance for economic growth, governance, technology, social policy, environment, and public life. Their inputs will shape the Telangana Rising 2047 document, which will be unveiled during the global summit on December 8 and 9.”
The state government is organizing the ‘Telangana Rising Global Summit’ in Hyderabad’s Future City area on December 8-9. The event aims to showcase the state government’s achievements over the past two years, attract investments, and officially launch the Telangana Rising 2047 vision.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, central ministers, leading industrialists, and other international dignitaries have been invited to attend. On the first day, December 8, the summit will highlight the government’s welfare and development achievements. On December 9, the Telangana Rising 2047 vision document, outlining the state’s future plans and aspirations, will be officially released.
