Sri Venkateswara University (SVU) has invited applications for the recruitment of 41 temporary research and technical positions including Project Associate, Laboratory Assistant, Research Associate, Senior Project Associate, Project Fellow, Technical Assistant, Lab Assistant, and Field Assistant. The notification has been released through the official SVU website, and candidates are required to apply offline. The last date to submit applications is 16 December 2025.

The positions offered by the university are strictly temporary, with tenure initially fixed until March 2026 and extendable based on the progress of the respective programs. All candidates are expected to follow the rules and regulations of RUSA-II and Sri Venkateswara University.

Vacancy and Post Details

A total of 41 vacancies have been announced. The distribution of posts is as follows: Project Associate-II (6), Project Associate-I (14), Laboratory Assistant (9), Senior Project Associate (4), Project Fellow (2), Technical Assistant (2), Research Associate-I (1), Laboratory/Field Assistant (1), and Lab Assistant (2).

Eligibility Requirements

Eligibility for the positions varies according to the post and requires educational qualifications ranging from a graduate degree to a Ph.D. in relevant fields. For instance, the Research Associate-I position requires a Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Life Sciences, or Chemistry, while the Project Associate and Laboratory Assistant posts require M.Sc., M.Tech., or other relevant degrees with specified minimum marks and, in certain cases, research experience. The Project Fellow position is open to candidates with an M.A. in Telugu, Sanskrit, Indian Culture, or Archaeology, whereas Technical Assistant posts are available to any graduate possessing basic computer knowledge.

Salary / Stipend

The monthly remuneration ranges between ₹15,000 and ₹58,000 plus HRA, depending on the post. Senior positions such as Research Associate-I and Senior Project Associate are offered ₹58,000 plus HRA, while Technical Assistant positions are offered ₹15,000 per month. Laboratory and Project Associate posts have salaries varying from ₹24,000 to ₹33,000 plus HRA.

Selection Process

Selection will be conducted through personal interviews. Candidates are required to appear in person with original certificates and relevant documents. Interview dates will be communicated via email or phone. No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
