Hyderabad: Spirit , the much-anticipated action drama marking the first collaboration between superstar Prabhas and director Sandeep Reddy Vanga, is slated for a worldwide theatrical release on March 5, 2027 . The release date was officially announced by Vanga through a striking poster, instantly setting social media abuzz.

The announcement poster stood out for its bold design and multilingual credits, listed in several Indian languages as well as Korean, underscoring the film’s ambitious pan-India and global reach . The makers are eyeing a strong box-office opening by opting for a Friday release that coincides with the Maha Shivaratri weekend and the Eid holiday period , traditionally considered favourable for big-ticket releases.

In Spirit , Prabhas will be seen in a rugged and intense police officer avatar , a departure from his recent larger-than-life roles. The film’s first-look poster, unveiled earlier, showcased the actor in a raw and fierce appearance, drawing widespread attention and raising expectations among fans and trade circles alike.
