Spirit: Prabhas’ Return to Sets Remains Unclear Amid Fauzi Delay
Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s highly anticipated film Spirit, starring Prabhas, continues to attract attention, but uncertainty remains over when the actor will return to the sets. The makers had previously completed around 50 days of shooting with Prabhas, following which the actor moved to his other upcoming project, Fauzi, to finish his pending portions.
Prabhas was initially expected to resume work on Spirit in September after completing his commitments to Fauzi. However, nearly two months have passed since his previous Spirit schedule, and the actor is yet to join the ongoing production. The current Spirit schedule in Mumbai is reportedly progressing without him.
There had been speculation that Prabhas could return to the sets this month, but no official confirmation has been issued regarding his exact joining date. Fans are now eagerly waiting for an update on when the actor will complete his Fauzi commitments and resume shooting for Vanga’s film.
Meanwhile, Fauzi has undergone a major release-date change. The film, which was earlier scheduled to hit theatres on December 3, 2026, has now moved out of that date and is expected to release sometime in 2027. This development has also sparked speculation about a possible change in Spirit’s announced March 5, 2027 release date.
However, the makers have not officially confirmed any postponement of Spirit. For now, the film continues to carry its March 5 release date, while further clarity is expected once Prabhas’ shooting schedule is finalised.
Spirit is jointly produced by T-Series and Bhadrakali Pictures, with Harshavardhan Rameshwar composing the music. Vivek Oberoi is set to play the antagonist. More updates on Prabhas’ return and the film’s release plans are expected as the production moves forward.
