The GHMC has initiated innovative measures to simplify the election process and enhance transparency in the electoral rolls . Acting on the directions of District Election Officer (DEO) and Commissioner R.V. Karnan , help desks are being set up at various offices under the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) programme.

As part of this initiative, a special help desk for voter mapping (2002–2025) was inaugurated at the Telangana High Court by Additional Commissioner (Elections) K. Chandrakala and Charminar ERO Saritha . The facility enables advocates to easily map their voter details . High Court Bar Association President S. Surender Reddy and other members participated in the programme and extended their support.

Officials have decided not to limit these services to government offices alone, aiming to bring them closer to the public . Plans are underway to establish similar help desks at Residential Welfare Association buildings, employee unions, and community development centres within the GHMC limits. Authorities have urged voters to make use of this opportunity to verify and update their details .

The primary objective of the SIR exercise is to eliminate duplicate entries and ensure a clean and accurate electoral roll .
