
Shivam Mishra granted bail in VIP road Lamborghini crash case
Shivam Mishra, son of prominent tobacco businessman K K Mishra , was granted bail on Thursday , just a few hours after his arrest in connection with the high-profile Lamborghini crash on VIP Road that injured several people earlier this week.
Mishra was taken into custody by the police around 6 a.m. on Thursday and produced before the Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate at 10 a.m. the same day . Police had sought 14 days of judicial custody, but the court declined the request and granted him bail within four hours of his arrest on a personal bond of Rs 20,000.
The court, while granting bail, remarked that “the investigation is at an early stage, and the accused should cooperate with the authorities,” according to his counsel, Anant Sharma.
The incident has drawn widespread attention due to the involvement of a luxury car and multiple injuries, prompting an ongoing investigation by the local police.
