Sharmila Turned Political Mouthpiece for N. Chandrababu Naidu: YSRCP

The YSR Congress Party has intensified its criticism of Y. S. Sharmila, alleging she is acting as a political voice for N. Chandrababu Naidu.

At a press conference in Tadepalli, party leader Singarreddy Satish Kumar Reddy questioned the source of Sharmila’s election spending and demanded transparency . He alleged that Congress strategies are aligned with Naidu’s interests and raised doubts over possible financial backing .

He further claimed that Sharmila and Y. S. Sunitha were used in past elections to damage the image of Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, with support from sections of the media .

Referring to the Y. S. Vivekananda Reddy murder case, he alleged that its prolonged investigation is being used to divert attention from current controversies , including the Tirumala laddu issue, TTD-related matters, and the drugs case involving TDP MP Putta Mahesh Yadav.

On the family property dispute, he said Sharmila had already received a significant share and questioned her continued allegations. He accused Sharmila and Y. S. Sunitha of targeting MP Y. S. Avinash Reddy for political reasons, challenging them to an open debate or public oath.

Satish Reddy warned against bringing family matters into the public sphere and alleged that the renewed focus on the Vivekananda Reddy case is politically driven, aimed at gaining advantage in the 2029 elections .
