Global Latin pop sensation Shakira is set to make a grand return to India after nearly 20 years , with a two-city concert tour scheduled for April 2026 , organisers announced.

The highly anticipated performances will take place at Mahalaxmi Racecourse in Mumbai on April 10 and at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi on April 15 . This marks Shakira’s first major performances in India since her 2007 Mumbai appearance during the Oral Fixation tour.

In a statement, the Grammy Award-winning artist said: “Performing in India has always been meaningful to me. I’m thrilled to reconnect with audiences in both Mumbai and Delhi.”

The concerts are being organised by the non-profit Feeding India , in partnership with District by Zomato , marking the initiative’s first multi-city concert edition . Organisers highlighted that the tour will also support efforts aimed at improving child nutrition , blending entertainment with a meaningful cause.

Shakira, one of the best-selling Latin female artists globally , has sold more than 100 million records worldwide . Her hits, including “Hips Don’t Lie,” “Waka Waka (This Time for Africa),” “Whenever, Wherever,” and “She Wolf,” remain internationally popular. Tickets will be available exclusively through the District app . HSBC credit cardholders can access a 48-hour pre-sale starting 12 PM IST on February 27 until 12 PM IST on March 1, with general ticket sales opening at 1 PM IST on March 1 , organisers confirmed.
