Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘King’ Promo Gets Certified, Will SRK Unveil Teaser on His Birthday?

The excitement surrounding Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming film “King” is gathering momentum after its first promotional video received certification, fuelling speculation among fans about when the much-awaited glimpse of the action entertainer could be unveiled.

The promo was certified in Mumbai on October 15 with a UA 7+ rating, according to the available certification details. The development has sparked fresh discussions among the superstar’s followers, with many hoping that the makers will release a teaser on November 2, Shah Rukh Khan’s birthday.

Backed by Red Chillies Entertainments and Marflix Pictures, “King” is directed by Siddharth Anand, known for mounting large-scale action spectacles. The film features Shah Rukh Khan alongside Deepika Padukone, Suhana Khan and Abhishek Bachchan, bringing together a prominent cast for one of the most anticipated Bollywood releases of 2026.

The film is scheduled to arrive in theatres on December 24, 2026, positioning it for the Christmas holiday season. With the release date approaching, the certification of the first promo has given fans a fresh reason to look for updates, although no official teaser release date has been confirmed in the information available.

The buzz is also extending beyond social media. Shah Rukh Khan’s latest advertisement for telecom operator Vi has added to the online conversation, while fan clubs are preparing their own celebrations. A fan club in Pune, for instance, is unveiling special “King” T-shirts, reflecting the enthusiasm building around the film.

For fans, November 2 could become a significant date if the makers choose the actor’s birthday to offer the first major glimpse of the project. However, until an official announcement arrives, the anticipated birthday teaser remains speculation rather than a confirmed promotional plan.

With a major star cast, Siddharth Anand at the helm and a Christmas release on the calendar, “King” is already generating considerable anticipation. The next big question is whether the makers will turn the growing online excitement into a first look timed to the superstar’s birthday.
