Seva Teerth Inauguration Marks New Era in Modern Governance: Chandrababu

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday inaugurated the newly constructed Prime Minister’s Office complex, Seva Teerth , in the national capital, marking a historic shift in India’s administrative framework . Governance operations, which functioned for nearly 95 years from the colonial-era South Block , will now move to the state-of-the-art facility.

Developed under the Central Vista Project , the new complex integrates the PMO, National Security Council Secretariat and Cabinet Secretariat under one roof, aiming to enhance coordination , ensure faster decision-making , and strengthen national security mechanisms.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu congratulated the Prime Minister, calling it a historic milestone in governance reforms. He said the move reflects a decisive break from colonial legacies and reinforces people-centric governance aligned with the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047 .

Featuring heritage-inspired architecture , sustainability measures and a dedicated ‘India House’ for global engagements, Seva Teerth represents both structural modernisation and a symbolic transformation in India’s governance narrative.
