Security alert in J&K's Doda: Forces hunt three suspects in remote area

Security forces launched a major search operation in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday after reports of suspicious movement by three individuals in a remote region.

The operation is underway in Katasoo and Donadi in Thathri , with a joint team of the Special Operations Group (SOG) and Rashtriya Rifles troops carrying out the cordon and search.

Officials said the suspects were spotted before dawn , but so far, no contact has been made . The forces continue to sweep the area, keeping alert for any developments.

Local authorities have advised residents in nearby villages to remain vigilant and avoid venturing into isolated areas until the operation concludes. The heightened security comes amid continued efforts by the administration to maintain stability in remote and sensitive regions of Doda , which have occasionally witnessed infiltration attempts in the past.
