The Telangana Rising Global Summit 2025 concluded on December 10 in Hyderabad with the state announcing investment commitments worth ₹3.47 lakh crore, making it one of the largest capital-mobilisation events in Telangana’s history. Held at Bharat Future City on December 8–9, the summit also served as the launchpad for the state’s long-term development blueprint, “Telangana Rising 2047”, which aims to transform the state into a $1 trillion economy by 2034 and a $3 trillion economy by 2047. The first day of the summit saw Telangana secure ₹2.43 lakh crore in MoUs spread across deep-tech innovation, green energy, urban infrastructure, film and media, and aerospace. Major commitments focused on developing Future City and deep-tech clusters, including a Global Deep Tech Innovation City proposed by a Brookfield–Axis consortium, alongside large renewable energy projects in solar and wind that strengthened the state’s clean-energy pipeline. This opening day positioned Telangana as a global investment destination, with Bharat Future City showcased as a futuristic business district comparable to Davos-style venues.

On the second day, the state finalised an additional ₹1,04,350 crore in MoUs, concentrated in FMCG, food processing, IT, data centres, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, renewable energy and allied infrastructure. Key announcements included Reliance Consumer Products Limited committing ₹1,500 crore for a 100-acre multi-product FMCG manufacturing complex, Vintage Coffee pledging ₹1,100 crore for a premium freeze-dried coffee unit, and JKC Infra planning ₹9,000 crore for next-generation data centres employing over 2,000 people. The Adani Group revealed that it has already invested nearly ₹10,000 crore in the state and announced an additional ₹2,500 crore for a 48 MW data centre, raising its total planned investment to about ₹12,500 crore. In renewable energy, RCT Energy India committed ₹2,500 crore, while in the life sciences sector, Hetero Group, Bharat Biotech, and Aurobindo Pharma announced major expansions with investments of ₹1,800 crore, ₹1,000 crore, and ₹2,000 crore respectively, collectively generating tens of thousands of skilled and semi-skilled jobs in the coming years.

Together, the two days of engagements brought in ₹3.47 lakh crore, reflecting strong investor confidence across five major pillars: deep tech and future-city infrastructure, green energy and sustainability, digital infrastructure including data centres, pharma and biotechnology, and FMCG and food processing. These investments are expected to significantly advance Telangana’s urban development, clean-energy goals, digital ecosystem, life-sciences leadership, and manufacturing diversification. The government emphasised that the summit marked not merely a round of MoU signings but the beginning of a 20-year transformation journey under the Telangana Rising 2047 vision. By aligning global investors with a clear long-term economic roadmap and a strategic portfolio of projects spanning high-tech cities, renewable energy, digital infrastructure and biotech innovation, the summit positioned Telangana to compete with leading global regions in attracting capital, talent and innovation. If even a substantial share of the ₹3.47 lakh crore commitments materialise into real-world projects, the 2025 summit may be remembered as a defining moment that ushered in Telangana’s next phase of accelerated growth.
