
SBI’s Asha Scholarship offers up to ₹20 lakh for meritorious students
The SBI Foundation, the corporate social responsibility (CSR) arm of the State Bank of India, has announced the SBI Platinum Jubilee Asha Scholarship 2025–26, a major initiative to support meritorious students from economically weaker backgrounds in continuing their education.
The scholarship program offers financial assistance of up to ₹20 lakh to selected students pursuing higher studies at top institutions in India and abroad. The initiative aims to help deserving students overcome financial challenges and achieve academic excellence.
Eligibility
The scholarship is open to Indian nationals from low-income families.
Students eligible to apply include:
• Those pursuing postgraduate or undergraduate courses from the top 300 NIRF-ranked universities/colleges or IITs.
• Students enrolled in MBA/PGDM programs from the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs).
• Candidates who are planning to study abroad may also apply.
• Applicants must demonstrate strong academic performance and financial need.
About the SBI Foundation
The SBI Foundation was established in 2015 under the Companies Act, 2013, as a Section VIII company to implement SBI’s CSR initiatives in a structured and focused manner. The Foundation works towards improving the socio-economic well-being of the underprivileged through programs in education, health, environment, and rural development.

Students can apply for the SBI Platinum Jubilee Asha Scholarship through the Buddy4Study online platform. The deadline for applications is November 15, 2025.

• Fill in the application form with academic, personal, and income details.

The scholarship aims to promote equal access to education and empower India’s youth to pursue their academic aspirations without financial constraints.
