Sangeeth Shoban, Anaswara Rajan Team Up For ‘Antha Ramuloru Chusukuntaru’
Young hero Sangeeth Shoban and Mollywood actress Anaswara Rajan are teaming up for a new feel good romantic drama set against the backdrop of the Godavari region. Directed by ‘Kumari 21F’ fame Palnati Surya Pratap, the film has been titled ‘Antha Ramuloru Chusukuntaru’. Sangeeth plays Maruthi, while Anaswara appears as Sirisha.
The makers unveiled the title glimpse on September 6, introducing Maruthi as a typical Godavari guy and Sirisha as a contrasting city girl. The glimpse shows Maruthi trying to impress Sirisha and sharing a sweet conversation with her, hinting at a charming relationship between the two. Mickey J Meyer’s melodious music adds to the film’s breezy mood.
However, the glimpse takes an unexpected turn towards the end. Sirisha is seen getting ready for her wedding, while Maruthi is around the wedding arrangements. The reveal raises questions about what happened between the two and explains the film’s intriguing tagline, “not a love story.”
The film is backed by Dheeraj Mogilineni and Giri Babu Vallabhaneni under Dheeraj Mogilineni Entertainment and VGB Films, with a story by Lakshmi Bhupal. The title glimpse has also drawn attention for its rural Godavari setting, visuals and background score.
Rao Ramesh, Rohini, Raghu Babu, Ali, Jhansi, Vinod Kumar, Shivanarayana, Sri Lakshmi and others play key roles.
The fresh pairing of Sangeeth Shoban and Anaswara Rajan has added further curiosity around the project. The release date is yet to be announced, with the makers expected to reveal more details soon.
