Salman Khan Calls '7 Dogs' a Truly International Big-Screen Spectacle

Salman Khan has praised '7 Dogs' as a truly international action spectacle, highlighting its ambitious scale, elaborate action and the coming together of talent from India, Egypt, Europe, Hollywood and the Middle East. The film is set to release in Indian theatres on August 21 in Hindi and English.

Salman, who makes a special appearance in the film alongside Sanjay Dutt, said he enjoyed being part of a project that brings together different cultures and film industries. Calling it a "big-screen film in every sense", the actor praised the scale of the production and the world created by its filmmakers.

The cast also features Egyptian stars Ahmed Ezz and Karim Abdel Aziz, Italian actor Monica Bellucci, and Giancarlo Esposito, along with Tara Emad, Nasser Al-Qasabi and Max Huang.

Directed by Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, the filmmaking duo behind Bad Boys for Life and Bad Boys: Ride or Die, '7 Dogs' was conceived and co-written by Turki Alalshikh. The Saudi-backed production has already premiered in the Middle East and is now heading to Indian cinemas.

Salman also said he was impressed by the ambition of Arab cinema, particularly its efforts to reach global audiences while retaining its identity. He believes the film's theatrical scale and entertainment value will appeal to Indian viewers.

The film's action and stunt sequences were developed with 87Eleven, the company associated with the John Wick franchise. Veteran stunt designer Stephen Dunlevy, whose credits include Mad Max: Fury Road and John Wick, leads the action design.

Meanwhile, Salman is also working on 'Maatrubhumi: May War Rest in Peace' and Vamshi Paidipally's upcoming action film with Nayanthara, which is currently in production.
