Ryan Reynolds in talks to present Nani’s global action film The Paradise
Actor Nani’s upcoming film The Paradise is shaping up to be a truly global project. From the very beginning, director Srikanth Odela and the producers aimed to give the film an international identity and now, they’re taking a big step in that direction.
According to reports, the team is in discussions to bring Hollywood superstar Ryan Reynolds on board as the presenter of the film. Given Reynolds’ success in the action genre with hits like Deadpool and Free Guy , the filmmakers believe his name would give The Paradise a powerful global reach and appeal.
Once the news surfaced online, fans and netizens quickly sparked debates. While some expressed excitement that the move would add hype and prestige to the project, others were skeptical. “It’ll be great if it’s as entertaining as Deadpool , but not if it turns out like Green Lantern ,” one user commented. Others argued that Indian films should focus on their domestic market and homegrown talent instead of looking westward.
The Paradise marks the second collaboration between Nani and Srikanth Odela after their blockbuster Dasara . The film is said to be an action drama with quirky elements, somewhat inspired by the style and tone of Ryan Reynolds’ movies.
The project also introduces Raghav Juyal known for his work in Hindi cinema as the antagonist, making his Telugu debut. With a massive ₹200 crore budget, the film is being made on a grand scale and will be released in multiple languages, including Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, Kannada, English, and Spanish.
If the deal with Reynolds goes through, The Paradise could become one of the most globally ambitious Indian films in recent years.
