The three-day Akhil Bharatiya Pratinidhi Sabha (ABPS) meeting of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) concluded here on Sunday with a focus on expanding organisational work, promoting active participation in the national interest , and strengthening social harmony .
On the final day, RSS General Secretary Dattatreya Hosabale highlighted the significant growth in organisational activities over the past year. Hosabale emphasised that expansion should not be limited to urban centres but also include regions like Andaman, Arunachal Pradesh, Leh , and remote tribal areas . In Andaman, over 13,000 people from nine islands participated in a Hindu Sammelan attended by RSS Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat . Similarly, in Arunachal Pradesh, 37,000 people took part in 21 Swadharma Sammelans , reflecting growing engagement even in sparsely populated states.
The RSS chief underlined that being Indian or Hindu is not just an idea but a way of life , and society should recognise the contributions of great personalities beyond caste or sect divisions . As part of this effort, more than 2,000 programmes were organised nationwide to mark the 350th martyrdom anniversary of Guru Tegh Bahadur , involving over 7 lakh participants . Preparations are underway for programmes marking the 650th birth anniversary of Sant Shiromani Ravidas Ji .
