Rs 2 cr cash and gold exposed in raids

The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials conducted raids at the house of Electricity Department Assistant Divisional Engineer (ADE) Ambedkar following allegations that his assets exceeded his income. During the raids at Ambedkar’s residence and his relatives’ houses, shocking discoveries were made. A huge amount of cash and valuable property was found.

At one of Ambedkar’s relative’s houses, ACB officials found Rs 2 crore in cash. They also seized a large amount of gold. Seeing Rs 2 crore in cash, the ACB officials were surprised. Most of the money was in Rs 500 notes, with only one or two bundles of Rs 200 notes. Officials used cash-counting machines to count the money.

The ACB team was divided into 15 groups and conducted raids in multiple places, including Gachibowli, Madapur, Hyderabad, Rangareddy, Medak, and Nalgonda districts. During these inspections, huge properties were revealed. In Gachibowli, a luxurious building was identified, according to ACB DSP Anand.

Similarly, in Penpahad of Suryapet district, Ambedkar is said to have purchased 10 acres of agricultural land. Another 1,000 square yards of farmland was also identified there.
