RRB JE 2025: application window extended, 2,588 vacancies open

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has extended the application deadline for the Junior Engineer (JE) 2025 examination. Candidates can now submit their applications until December 10, 2025, instead of the earlier deadline of November 30, 2025. The last date to pay the application fee is December 12, 2025, while the application correction window will remain open from December 13 to December 22, 2025.

This year, RRB has revised the total number of vacancies for JE, Depot Material Superintendent (DMS), and Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant (CMA) posts to 2,588, providing more opportunities for eligible candidates across India. The posts are available in multiple disciplines, including Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, and Electronics & Communication Engineering.

Eligible candidates must possess a degree or diploma in engineering in their respective field and meet the age criteria specified by RRB. The extension in the application timeline aims to give candidates ample time to complete their registration and fee payment, and also correct any mistakes in their applications.
