Riya Shibu Roped In as Female Lead Opposite Vikram in Chiyaan 63

Actor Riya Shibu has been cast as the female lead in actor Vikram’s upcoming film Chiyaan 63 , directed by Anand Shankar. The announcement was made by Sathya Jyothi Films, which is backing the much-anticipated action thriller.

Riya, daughter of noted producer Shibu Thameens, has been steadily gaining attention in the South Indian film industry. She recently earned praise for her performance in Sarvam Thaala Mayam 2 , with many in the industry viewing her as one of the promising young talents to watch. Apart from acting, she has also been associated with film production activities under her family banner.

The film marks Vikram’s reunion with Anand Shankar after their successful 2016 sci-fi thriller Iru Mugan . According to reports, Vikram will portray a rugged chef who secretly operates as a gangster, promising an intense and stylish action entertainer.

Music for the project will be composed by Santhosh Narayanan, while acclaimed cinematographer R. D. Rajasekhar has been brought on board to handle visuals. Industry buzz also suggests that veteran actors Urvashi and M. S. Bhaskar may join the cast in pivotal roles.

Production is expected to begin in Chennai next month, with Vikram reportedly allocating around 50 to 60 days for the shoot. The project has already generated significant excitement among fans, especially with the actor collaborating once again with a director known for blending action and psychological drama.
