Jamshedpur responded with determination and continued to push forward, with Vincy Barretto and Mohammed Sanan providing width and energy down the flanks. Despite several promising moves, the hosts struggled to find the finishing touch against a disciplined Mohun Bagan defence.
The visitors nearly doubled their advantage in the 35th minute when Colaco turned provider, setting up Robson , whose powerful effort flashed across the face of the goal with Jamie Maclaren just short of making contact.
As the game progressed, the contest became increasingly physical, with both teams battling hard for control. Jamshedpur coach Owen Coyle introduced substitute Ritwik Das in the 86th minute , a decision that proved decisive.
Deep into stoppage time, Raphaël Messi Bouli delivered a precise cross from the left. Ritwik rose unmarked inside the box and calmly headed the ball past goalkeeper Vishal Kaith in the 95th minute , sparking celebrations as Jamshedpur snatched a dramatic late equaliser and denied Mohun Bagan a vital victory.
