Rishab Shetty Meets Amit Shah, Praises His Understanding Of Culture And Cinema

Actor-director Rishab Shetty met Union Home Minister Amit Shah in New Delhi on Saturday, in an interaction focused on cinema, culture and storytelling traditions of India .

In a post on X, Amit Shah said, “It was truly engaging to speak with you about films and culture. The way you present Indian civilization and culture through your films, with such understanding and sensitivity, is genuinely admirable and leaves a lasting impact.” He further added that he is confident Shetty will continue to inspire audiences through his future work.

Shah also lauded Kannada actor Rishab Shetty’s films for showcasing Indian culture , highlighting how cinema can effectively present the country’s civilisation and heritage to wider audiences.

Sharing pictures from the meeting on Instagram, Shetty wrote, “Had the honour of meeting the Honourable Home Minister, Shri Amit Shah ji. It became one of my most memorable moments as he shared his words of appreciation for Kantara and Kantara Chapter 1 .”

Shetty added that he discussed upcoming projects during the meeting and was deeply impressed by Shah’s knowledge of history, art, culture and filmmaking , calling it one of his most memorable interactions.
