Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy on Friday alleged that the Congress government’s “six guarantees” in Telangana have completely failed, and accused Chief Minister Revanth Reddy of misleading people in Kerala by claiming implementation of schemes that have not been delivered.

Addressing a press conference at the BJP state office in Nampally, he criticised the Congress government, stating that not a single scheme has been implemented effectively in the state.

He questioned the status of key promises: “What happened to ₹2,500 monthly assistance for women, pension hikes, ₹12 lakh support for Dalit families, and ₹1 lakh crore for BCs? Where are the promises of one tola gold for married women, 2 lakh jobs for the unemployed, and electric scooters?” he asked. He added that claiming implementation of unfulfilled assurances reflects the “DNA of Congress” and amounts to deceiving the people of Telangana.

Kishan Reddy also raised doubts over Revanth Reddy’s visit to Kerala, suggesting that financial interests may be involved rather than politics . He said there is public speculation that funds are being diverted from Telangana, and remarked that the Chief Minister’s statements carry little credibility there.

He further alleged that just as former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) failed to fulfil promises, Revanth Reddy is following the same path .

On the alleged irregularities in the Kaleshwaram project , the Union Minister demanded a CBI inquiry into the entire project , not just limited to the Medigadda barrages.

He also questioned why the Congress, which had promised during elections to jail KCR’s family and recover ₹1 lakh crore , has not taken any action even after coming to power.

Accusing the state government of shifting blame, he said the responsibility to implement guarantees lies entirely with the Congress government , and criticised it for failing to act while blaming the BJP to cover its inefficiency .
