
Revanth Reddy in Bhupalpally to Roll Out Rythu Bharosa Funds Today
Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy will visit Jayashankar Bhupalpally district today. The tour will focus on irrigation project review, temple development, and farmers’ welfare .
The Chief Minister will offer prayers at the Sri Kaleshwara Mukteswara Swamy Temple in the afternoon and later perform bhumi puja for temple development works. He is expected to state that the government is committed to enhancing the temple premises and providing better facilities for devotees .
He will then visit the controversial Medigadda Barrage , inspect the dam site, and hold a high-level review meeting with irrigation officials. He will also address the media at the site.
Later, the Chief Minister will participate in a large public meeting at Nasturapalli in Kataram mandal , where he will release the second tranche of Rythu Bharosa funds .
Out of 73 lakh farmers across the state, 45,11,947 farmers will benefit in this phase. An amount of ₹6,000 per acre will be directly credited to farmers’ bank accounts. In the first tranche, ₹3,450 crore was already disbursed, while the government has allocated ₹5,700 crore for the second tranche. Plans are also underway to release the third tranche soon .
The initiative is expected to provide significant relief to farmers preparing for the cultivation season. The visit also aims to assess the current status of irrigation projects and strengthen financial support to farmers. District authorities have completed all arrangements for the Chief Minister’s visit.
