
Revanth Reddy Advises Telugus in Iran, Gulf to Stay Indoors
The Telangana government has placed special focus on the safety of Telugu people residing in Iran and Gulf countries. In the wake of reports of ongoing war-like conditions , Chief Minister Revanth Reddy responded on Sunday, advising Telugu residents in Iran and other Gulf nations to remain highly alert and to step out only if absolutely necessary in case of an emergency.
He urged them to closely monitor local developments and strictly follow the advisories and warnings issued by Indian embassies .
The Chief Minister stated that if emergency situations arise, the State government is prepared to coordinate with the Central government to ensure the safe return of Telugu people to India. He directed officials to remain vigilant and ready to take immediate action if required.
He further said that the government is continuously monitoring the situation of Telangana residents living in Iran and Gulf countries. Officials have been instructed to maintain constant contact with Indian embassies and consulates in the region.
Reiterating that the safety of Telangana citizens is of utmost priority , the Chief Minister expressed hope that all those living abroad remain safe and assured that the government will undertake all necessary assistance measures .
