Recruitment Rally at Bengal Engineer Group Roorkee to Continue Until December 12

The recruitment rally for Agniveer posts at the Bengal Engineer Group and Centre (BEG) Roorkee has been announced to be conducted from 8 December to 12 December 2025. Offline applications have been invited, and eligible candidates with Class 10, Class 12 or ITI qualifications have been permitted to attend the rally as per the notified schedule. The last date for participating in the recruitment process has been fixed as 12 December 2025.

The recruitment has been opened for Agniveer General Duty, Agniveer Technical and Agniveer Tradesmen (Musician) categories. The number of vacancies has not been mentioned in the notification. The rally has been planned to be conducted at BEG Centre Roorkee, and candidates have been advised to visit the official website joinindianarmy.nic.in for reference.

The schedule has been issued category-wise and state-wise. Candidates from Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh and Himachal Pradesh have been allotted 8 December 2025 for the Agniveer General Duty and Technical categories. Candidates from Uttarakhand, Bihar, Rajasthan, Assam, Odisha, West Bengal and Delhi have been directed to report on 9 December 2025. Applicants from Uttar Pradesh have been scheduled for 10 December 2025 under the same categories. On 11 December 2025, the rally has been opened for national and international level sportspersons from all States and Union Territories. The sports disciplines included athletics, archery, basketball, boxing, football, hockey, judo, swimming, wrestling, shooting, rowing, weightlifting, volleyball, kabaddi, taekwondo, tennis, winter games and several other recognised events. On the same day, Agniveer Tradesmen (Musician) applicants from all States and Union Territories have been asked to attend the rally. The final day, 12 December 2025, has been reserved for candidates from Punjab, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Maharashtra and remaining States and Union Territories for the General Duty and Technical categories, while the aptitude test for Agniveer Tradesmen (Musician) is also set to be conducted.

The eligibility criteria have been specified clearly. For Agniveer General Duty, Class 10 qualification with a minimum of 45 per cent aggregate in five subjects and 33 per cent marks in each subject has been made mandatory. Candidates with a Light Motor Vehicle driving licence are to be given preference for driver roles. For Agniveer Technical, 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English with 50 per cent aggregate and 40 per cent in each subject has been accepted. Additional eligible pathways include 10+2 with a recognised ITI qualification at NSQF Level 4 or above, or Class 10 with 50 per cent aggregate and 40 per cent in English, Mathematics and Science along with two years of ITI training or a two- or three-year polytechnic diploma in approved trades such as electrician, fitter, draughtsman, surveyor or geo-informatics assistant. For Agniveer Tradesmen (Musician), a simple Class 10 pass with 33 per cent marks in five basic subjects has been deemed sufficient.

The age limit has been fixed at 17.5 to 21 years for all categories, and only candidates born between 1 October 2004 and 1 April 2008 have been declared eligible. Age relaxation will be applied as per government rules.

Participation in the rally has been strictly conditioned upon the production of mandatory documents. Candidates have been instructed to carry educational certificates, domicile certificates, caste certificates, unmarried certificates, character certificates issued by schools and village authorities, affidavits and NCC certificates wherever applicable. Wards of serving personnel and ex-servicemen have been asked to produce relationship certificates or discharge books. Sports certificates have been made compulsory for candidates applying under the sports quota. Officials have clarified that candidates who fail to produce documents listed in Rally Notification No. 1763/Rally/111/Rtg dated 3 November 2025 will not be permitted to enter the rally venue. The rally notification has been made available at the Recruiting Office, BEG units, State Sainik Welfare Offices, Area Headquarters and Army Training Centres.

The recruitment process has been described as an opportunity for youth from multiple States to join the Army under the Agniveer scheme, and candidates have been advised to ensure that all documents are prepared before the reporting date. The final day of the rally, 12 December 2025, has been confirmed as the last date for participation.
