Raymond group to invest ₹943 crore in Andhra

The Andhra Pradesh government has given a green signal to the Raymond Group’s proposed investment of ₹943 crore in the state. The group plans to set up two manufacturing units in Anantapur district—an auto component plant in Gudipalli and an aerospace manufacturing facility in Tekulade—which are expected to generate employment for nearly 5,000 people.

The auto component plant in Gudipalli will be established on approximately 30 acres of government-allocated land with an investment of around ₹430 crore. This unit alone is projected to create employment for about 4,096 people.

Meanwhile, the aerospace facility, operated by JK Mini Aerospace, a subsidiary of the Raymond Group, will be set up in Tekulade on 47.28 acres of land with an investment of ₹510 crore. The facility is expected to employ 1,400 people, with construction scheduled to begin in March 2026 and commercial production slated for May 2027.

JK Mini Precision Technology, the Raymond Group’s subsidiary, was founded in 1973 and entered the aerospace sector in 2004. The company specializes in manufacturing a range of precision components for aerospace applications.

The Andhra Pradesh government has been actively encouraging investments by offering incentives, simplifying approvals, and fast-tracking permissions. Such pro-business measures have played a crucial role in attracting major investments like the Raymond Group’s foray into the state.
