Actor Ravi Teja expressed confidence in his upcoming film 'Irumudi', saying the Shiva Nirvana directorial will offer audiences an emotional ride and remain memorable. His comments came at the film’s grand pre-release event and 'Mallepoola Pallaki' song launch held at Shilpakalavedika in Hyderabad on August 16.

The makers unveiled the devotional track amid a festive atmosphere inspired by the Ayyappa pilgrimage tradition. The song combines spiritual elements with energetic beats, while Ravi Teja appears as an Ayyappa devotee in a traditional black outfit. G.V. Prakash Kumar has reworked the popular devotional number, with singer Dappu Srinu, who is associated with the original song, lending his voice to the new version.

The song has also generated discussion among fans, with the makers revealing that a special DJ version is expected to offer a more energetic theatrical experience. Reports indicate that Prakash Kumar teased the surprise during the event, adding to curiosity ahead of the film’s release.

Ravi Teja also praised Baby Nakshatra, who plays his daughter in the film, predicting that the young actress could become a future star. The actor said audiences would see him in a different avatar and described the film as an emotional experience.

Directed by Shiva Nirvana and produced by Mythri Movie Makers, 'Irumudi' stars Priya Bhavani Shankar as the female lead, with Baby Nakshatra and Sai Kumar in key roles. The film blends family emotions, action and a spiritual backdrop, with the recently released trailer promising an intense story involving Ravi Teja’s character and his daughter.

'Irumudi' is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on August 21, 2026.
