Ravi Teja Gets A Mega Surprise After ‘Irumudi’ Crosses Rs 225 Crore Worldwide

Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja’s 'Irumudi' has turned into a major blockbuster, crossing the Rs 225 crore mark worldwide after its theatrical release on August 21. Directed by Shiva Nirvana, the film has become one of the biggest successes of Ravi Teja’s career and continues to generate buzz in Tollywood.

Adding to the celebrations, Megastar Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan recently met Ravi Teja, Shiva Nirvana and the producers of 'Irumudi' to congratulate them on the film’s success. The production house shared pictures from the meeting on X. In one picture, Chiranjeevi is seen meeting Ravi Teja and Shiva Nirvana before presenting bouquets to the team. Another picture shows Ram Charan sitting with Ravi Teja and having a conversation, while another captures him with Shiva Nirvana.

The makers described the meeting as a “MEGA MASS MOMENT”, saying Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan met Ravi Teja and the 'Irumudi' team and congratulated them on the film’s massive success. The pictures have since attracted considerable attention among Telugu cinema fans.

'Irumudi' is a family drama centred on Ravi Teja’s character, a father who takes up a sacred Ayyappa Deeksha after his young daughter makes a request. The film received positive word of mouth after its release, with Ravi Teja’s performance becoming one of the major talking points.

The film features Priya Bhavani Shankar as the female lead, while Baby Nakshatra plays Ravi Teja’s daughter. Sai Kumar, Sunil, Ramesh Indira and Swasika Vijay are also part of the cast. GV Prakash Kumar has composed the music.

The latest box office figures underline the scale of the success. 'Irumudi' had reached a Rs 226.55 crore worldwide gross by Day 22, with the film continuing its theatrical run into its fourth week.

The Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan meeting also comes at an interesting time for both stars. Ram Charan is set to work with director Sukumar on the tentatively titled 'RC17' and was recently seen in 'Peddi', which reportedly crossed Rs 341.90 crore worldwide. Chiranjeevi, meanwhile, is preparing for his upcoming film 'Kaaka' after the success of 'Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu', which crossed Rs 375 crore worldwide.

For Ravi Teja and the 'Irumudi' team, the meeting with two of Telugu cinema’s biggest stars has become another memorable moment in the film’s blockbuster run.
