Students at the Devarapalli Tribal Ashram School in MareduMili Mandal are now recovering after falling ill following a midday meal on Saturday, February 7. Several students experienced vomiting, diarrhea, and abdominal pain , prompting swift action from authorities to provide emergency medical care. Responding to the incident, Rampachodavaram ITDA Project Officer and District Joint Collector Bachhu Smaran Raj assured that all students are stable and there is no cause for concern.

Quick Medical Response Prevented Serious Complications

Immediately after the students showed symptoms, 12 were taken to the MareduMili Primary Health Centre, and 45 were shifted to the Rampachodavaram Area Hospital for treatment. By Monday, 35 students had fully recovered and were discharged, with the remaining students continuing to improve under medical supervision. Officials confirmed that the rest will be discharged once they have completely recovered.
